Honoring Anaseia Graham: A Remarkable Mother of Three Who Turned Teenage Motherhood into Triumph

On this Mother’s Day, I, Felicia Graham, want to honor my daughter Anaseia Graham — a mother whose journey has inspired me and many others who know her. Watching her evolve from a determined teenager into the phenomenal mother of three beautiful children — two boys and one girl — has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.

Anaseia became a mother in 2013, at the young age of 16. While many would have let such a challenge derail their dreams, she made a decision early on that she would not be a statistic — she would be a success. And that’s exactly what she’s done. She didn’t just graduate high school — she did it early. With her children as her motivation, she began paving her own way in the beauty industry, launching her own business, Diva Installations, where she continues to shine as a gifted hairstylist and wig installation specialist.

What makes me most proud is how she balances it all with grace. She is goal-oriented, ambitious, and laser-focused. When she starts something, she finishes it — and does it with excellence. She’s patient with her children, leads by example, and fills her home with love and structure. Her children adore her, and it’s easy to see why. She is their safe place, their superhero, their role model.

Anaseia’s impact doesn’t stop at her home or business. She’s a proud homeowner and continues to give back to the community by volunteering with an African dance troupe she has been a part of for years. On top of that, she teaches African dance to students in Syracuse’s afterschool programming — helping young people connect to culture, creativity, and confidence.

This is why, to me, she is the best mom ever! Not just because of what she’s overcome, but because of how much love, discipline, and drive she pours into everything she does. She reminds me that motherhood, when embraced with heart and vision, is one of the most powerful forces on Earth.
